What can be done??

HydroBlueJK

Question

Ok guys.. So I had my brand new fuel hostage wheels mounted and balanced today and the tire shop damaged EVERY wheel!!

Bad pics I know.. But that's the same wheel.. That's how bad they're jacked up..

The lady at the counter said "I don't know what to tell you, that's the only way they could have been installed"

So you mean to tell me I should have assumed that you would destroy my wheels!?

I called the corporate head quarters and they said that they will "make it right" but realistically what can I expect?

I don't want them sent out to be repaired..so should I ask for them to replace the wheels??

Take pictures of all four wheels. Get the names of the people there who mounted the tires, the lady at the front desk, anybody who you talked to. Share the shops name/address/phone. Call the better business bureau, or the police if necessary. I had a dealership wreck my front bumper 4 years ago when I took my G8 in for warranty work and they tried to cover it up. I made sure that dealer got as much negative PR as possible, and now they send me Christmas cards with gift certificates in them.

I had the same thing happen to me. On my brand new ram. The truck only had 5k miles on it, I put a lift on and had 35" tires mounted. Two of the four wheels were damaged by the shop, who of course said it wasn't their fault and refused to pay for it. My best friend is chief of staff for a local congressman. After some calls were made by some fairly important people I had two new factory ram wheels that cost almost 1000$ each and a apology letter to go with them.

I agree with every statement here.  I'd have had them pay you for those wheels and put your old ones back on. Let them deal with their mistake.  Be sure to file a complaint with the BBB and your state attorney general.
