Super Vrt help

gregory

Question

I cleaned my truck this weekend and it has plastic trim along the bed rail which I used the super vrt and of course it rained later that day and it looks it ran down onto the paint after the rain. I don't think I used to much but maybe I did. any other tricks to keep it from doing this or does it just sound like I used to much? when I applied it I put some on the gray sponge folded it both ways then wiped it on the rails. its not like I had it dripping off the rails of had it on so thick it was clumped up on the rails..after I was done you couldn't see the vrt on there meaning you couldn't see any white stuff just the nice slick shiny rails..

For me I have noticed that if I apply it regularly,  eventually there is less and less of that activity.  Hard plastic bumper on my DD and the runs that you describe are not what they were in the beginning.  I don't dress my plastic every wash however.  Maybe every other.

Common problem I have as well. Pain to clean off. You're going to want to wash it ASAP or it will be even harder to get off once it's cleaned. I had to stop using SVRT on rubber and vinyl because of this problem. However on plastic it's fine. Why I don't know.

I always clean my rubber and vinyl before applying it. Always use a block applicator just for trim. Always wipe it down with a black MF Towel but none the less it always runs down the paint.

My disfuser did that when I started using VRT.  I would fix it with In and Out spray.   After awhile the VRT started covering the entire piece.  So I surmised that the plastic had something on it I could not see and it took a while to get it off.
