Car Shampoo Formula

So, I recently receive a 16 oz car shampoo in a mystery box.  I have previously been using a gallon that I had purchased in late 2013.  The two products are different, especially when considering the lubricity of the shampoo.  The gallon I have is super slick and foamy, and I love it.  The 16 oz doesn't seem to foam like the other, and is markedly less slick.  I've been searching the forum to find any announcement of formulation change and cannot find one.  Has anyone noticed this?  I hope, if the formula has changed, that the gallon is actually newer than the 16 oz bottle!  I really do not like the product in the bottle.

I'll wait for Adam's to chime in but I haven't noticed any difference in the Car Shampoo performance personally since I started using it about 3.5 years ago

Hmm... interesting.  At this point in time, I'll mark it up to a fluke.  Today, I even put equal amounts of soap and water in two different buckets and could feel an obvious difference in them.  Had my wife try it, too.  She said one felt more 'oily' than the other.  It is the 'oily' one which is in the gallon; the one I really like.

I've noticed that as well. Still seems pretty slick but not getting nearly as much foam with the gallon I got recently compared to the 16 oz I first got

Never noticed a difference in any of mine. Perhaps a bad batch?

I guess you could ask to exchange it.

Was it perhaps let to freeze and or sat in temps over 100? I know the car shampoo is very susceptible to separating due to temps

Thanks all for the input, and thanks especially to the offer to replace it.  It's no biggie, I'll require no replacement.  Just wondering if anyone else had noticed and if there really was a change.
