Washing/sealant question

694doorbird

Question

Going to wash my Ranger in the morning. Planning on putting a coat of sealant on it. I do know that I'll have to wait the 12 hours or so before I wax it. Since I'll need to drive it to work (16 miles) round trip, it will get a nice coat of dew on it over night. Should I be safe just giving it a waterless wash the following morning then lay a coat of wax on it?

I would think so.  I don't see any reason to do a full wash on it if you don't find it necessary.  Sounds like if there is just dew on it, and not dirt and debris, a waterless wash would work as designed.

The new paint sealant and waiting only an hour is nice though, as opposed to the 12 with the other.
