I think I found love...

Well i finally ordered my first Adams products. I've always thought their products looked great online, and i believed they work. Well i bit the Bullitt (pun intended, my car is a Bullitt edition) and placed an order. The order included:

Waterless Wash

Deep Wheel Cleaner

Bucket w/ Grit Guard

Rinseless Wash

Trim & Lug Nut Brush

Red & Yellow Applicators

Detail Spray

All Purpose Cleaner

Compact Travel Bag

And to my surprise they also threw in a thing of tire shine and the block applicator.. Which i was was very impressed that i got that also.

The Travel Bag is very nice, i can tell everything on it is high quality, and it was able to fit almost whatever i wanted to put in it, its nice going from the tub i was using to something enclosed and organized, now it'll be a lot easier transporting all my stuff around.

I've used quite a few Meguiars products, as well as 2 Mothers products, and a few from Chemical Guys. I have not used the products yet, as i am waiting for Friday night before a car show on Saturday (not entering, but my car is still going to be seen by other people i know), but even as of right now i think I am sold on Adams products, this is most likely going to be the first of many orders.

I only wish my paint didn't have so many rock chips. 145k miles gave it more than i like. I am running out of my Mothers Back to Black and my Meguiars Ultimate Polish, so i'll probably be picking up the VRT and the Paint Finishing Polish next. Probably also the Total Interior Detailer.

Mine isn't perfect either, I just maintain what I can. You'll love the detail spray and deep wheel cleaner. The wheel cleaner smells a little strong but works wonders on brake dust. I see you ordered the rinseless and the waterless wash. When you run out of waterless wash just pour an ounce or 2 of rinseless in that empty bottle and add water....you've just made more waterless wash. In case you didn't already know that.

Yea thats exactly why i got the thing of waterless wash, mainly just to have the bottle with the sticker already on it. If it works well then i'll be ordering the Rinseless wash in gallons and diluting them.

Ok so i finally got around to using the products today. First thing i can say is WOW! That Rinsless Wash worked better than the regular car soap i used to use. Without needing a hose and that whole mess this was so much easier. I'm definitely never going to use a hose again, maybe to bust the dirt loose initially, but then after that its all rinse-less wash from there. When i used the rinseless i also sprayed down the panel with the waterless wash first just to help the lubricity to not induce swirls. After the first wipe i could already tell i was going to really like it.

And the Deep Wheel Cleaner was amazing, and it was awesome seeing it turn purple, was kind of tricky not using a hose for that since i would have to use rinseless wash on it afterward and some of the DWL would stay inside the lug nut area. Only tricky thing about it. The Lug nut brush worked well, and actually i did the entire wheel with just that little brush, worked pretty well compared to big and bulky brushes.

After all that I waxed it. I have a nearly new thing of Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax so i used that with the red hex grip applicator, in the past i've used microfiber discs and the hex grip applicator actually made it a lot easier to apply evenly and thin. With the microfiber discs it would always go on too thick and uneven and be a PITA to remove. Not this time.

Next is the tire shine. The last stuff i used was Turtle Jet Black shine, it has a black tint to it so it was kind of delicate with working around the lip of the wheel. As for darkness the Adams stuff worked really well, was nice and deep looking. I guess the only test right now is to see how long it lasts.

Overall, i can say i'm very impressed with the Adams products, i will definitely be a return customer!

Very nice starting collection!

If you enter the car shows and stuff like that on that Dark Bullit color which I LOVE everything about those cars a product that will help really bring out that shine to another level is Adams Brilliant Glaze!

On that color it will shine it up very nice!

Yea the one issue is the amount of rock chips on it because of its higher miles. Most are on the front bumper, hood, and side skirts, and of course some scars on the rear bumper right behind the wheels from the tires spinning lol. I'm replacing the side skirts soon with Cobra ones. Eventually will get a cowl hood and Roush bumper. That should clear it up a lot. Focusing too much on performance right now (ordered coilovers yesterday), Mostly getting her ready for Autocross season, may look into a few road races at Sonoma or Laguna Seca if i have the spare cash.. She will be back to her full glory one day though.
