Wingman520 Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) Well my first time with what I'd consider the "starter kit" for adams polishes is simply amazing! I just recently started doing a detailing business on the side (not an official business) to just stir up some extra cash and fill a void I have on top of work, school, and a youtube show I do with my best friend. I did a lot of my families vehicles at first using meguiars products since I knew the quality of them and what results they would give me. After my friend showing me Adams products and also telling me how awesome they were I was sold. I wanted to go the extra level, but I didn't have everything I wanted to make that "standard" of service and support I wanted. So I researched the hell out of Adams, watched videos, read the forums before registering. I then saw summit racing carrying their products, and went on a spending frenzy. I have acquired all of the products I needed to get a basic appearance for the interior and exterior to shine and be where I wanted it to until I got a machine buffer (Porter Cable 7424XP)Well enough talk and more on the photos. Here is the before shots of my "official first" customer vehicle for my detailing gig I started, and the use of Adams products exclusively (almost) on this camaro. (I haven't gotten your clay bar yet, I'm working on it haha)For the record the before shots end when you get to the engine bay. From the engine bay shot onto the end is all after shots. So after cleaning the necessary products by using Deep wheel cleaner for the wheels, washing with adams shampoo, clay barring with a clay bar (using megs until it's gone then onto adams clay bar) and finally using the rotary buffer along with adams finishing polish then topping the whole ordeal off with Adams americana wax. I am nothing but impressed and sold on these products for what level of clean they provide, and also how awesome this yellow just pops and the paint looks perfect (even thought it almost looks good enough haha. I apologize for the quality of some of the photos (they are on a mobile phone) I also thought I'd give you a short sample I got of the exhaust which was a Borla ATAK Exhaust. everything else (as you can see) is stock on this camaro. (sadly I can't upload the video to the website so no video shall be posted) Now I just need to get my spray nozzle fixed on my interior cleaner bottle. I bought it and it doesn't work at all I had to swap it out with my quick detail nozzle after rinsing it out so I wouldn't cross contaminate the products haha. Thank you Adams for this great products! I can't wait to get some orange correction and pads to help complete my setup for detailing. Hopefully I'll get more customers and show you guys more cars that I detail as time goes on. PS to Adams: If you wish to use the Camaro for anything on the website feel free to. I'm quite proud myself. I just gotta remember to take interior shots of this vehicle. Like I said I am beyond impressed with Adams products and more than happy with them. I'm all in now. Just gotta get Summit Racing to get some more detailing products in their stores, and see if they will fix my bottle interior cleaner bottle since it didn't want to spry first try :-D muahahaha. I try to at least show before and after of the same areas while adding depth and reflection to the photos. It's a lot of impulse shots, but then filtering which ones I want the most that I feel stand out. Nice work, takes a lot of time and patience to do an entire car the right way. Good Luck going forward. I've been seeing a few other detailers show they will do an entire car in 4 hours. Sure that's a nice turnover, but I'm guessing they are using a team to clean that vehicle. I'd rather do it myself and KNOW I touched every part of the car and made sure it was cleaned rather than "looking over it and giving it the ok" That's just me though. BTW camaro took me 5 1/2 hours start to finish. The interior was so clean it just needed vacuumed and a wiped down. Don't see many summer cars in this area :-p Awesome job! That thing looks great! What an honor!" haha back to a serious moment here. First off I want to Thank YOU Adam! I'm not gonna lie watching all of your videos has helped me A LOT in becoming a skilled, but more importantly knowledgeable detailer. I enjoy every one of your videos you've done showing what to do under what conditions for detailing and how to do it properly. The amount of information I've gained from these countless hours of video is surreal to me. You've definitely got my business as long as you can get some more products into Summit Racing stores. haha I kid on that. I know a few products that you sell online that I don't get in store so I plan for sure on getting some more products very shortly from you. Adams products are second to none! Adams Leather and Interior Cleaner and Adams Leather Conditioner are a must when doing interiors. I have brought 20 year paint back to show room condition with the PC 7424 and Adams Paint Correcting/Finishing Polish. Keep us updated on your current projects. I have a Buick coming in tomorrow so I shall be posting a new topic and photos of when that vehicle gets detailed. I just purchased the all purpose detailer and another bottle of detail spray.
