Finally Single Stage

teamcrossworks

Question

I finally had a moment to start the detail on my 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo. The car is in mint condition though has never had more than a dozen washes in the six years I've owned it (never gets driven...don't ask me why). Car has fine swirl marks most likely from previous washings from previous owner.

It's the first single stage paint I've polished and everything I've read is true.

  • Softer paint
  • Paint transfers to the pads
  • Unbelievable depth of shine when done

My routine:

Waterless Wash to get off the dust from the cover

Clayed with Detail Spray

I used the PC with 4" orange pad / orange Haze and Swirl Remover (old stuff)

Then onto the 4" white pad / white final polish (again old stuff)  Note: I do have new as well

Brillant Glaze

Buttery Wax

WOW!!!

The picture dosn't do it justice but again so happy with Adam's Products.

I was only able to do the front left fender today (hour therapy session) but by spring the car should be looking good...LOL     I'll keep everyone posted.
