Holder
I'll use this thread to post pictures and progress if my CTS-V Wagon. So far the car had only been lowered and windows tinted. I started getting the itch to change a few things. As always I start with a wash. I started with pulling the bumper to get access to the headlights. The headlights went to the oven to be separated. After disassembly I had access to the orange marker which was painted black. I will also be upgrading to LED daytime running lights. While the bumper was off I was lucky to get a smoking deal on some ho fast parts. Upper pulley, larger heat exchanger and dual oil catch cans. The install is all still in work. I also picked up a ZL1 supercharger lid to replace the stock ugly one. It will add better cooling for the supercharger as well. I had it milled to clear my hood the powder coated a matte textured red. I'm still waiting on parts and should it mostly wrapped up next week. Holder
Old vs New. I still need to have about .010" milled off the top to clear my hood.
Holder
Bigger heat exchanger getting installed tonight. Put a little extra touch, I hope it looks good when it's all installed.
Holder
A little mock up to see if the lid clears. It still needs a little trimming.
Z06Seal
are you accounting for the slight movement the engine will make when revved?
Holder
More progress. Modified Airaid intake to make room for dual oil catch cans. There is literally no other place I. This engine bay to mount this thing. I'll also be putting in a drain line so I never need to open up the intake area to drain.
UcantCcanU
Lookin good! I don't know if I would ever have the guts to bake my headlights open . If you haven't done the LEDs yet i would recommend vleds.com they have an amazing product and awesome customer service (not as good as Adam's but thats impossible to beat). I did a full LED conversion and couldn't be happier with how bright they are.

I did a full LED conversion and couldn't be happier with how bright they are. I definitely had a few hiccups with pulling the lights apart and putting the back together. It wasn't easy but I got it done and they look great. I ordered the LED DRL's from weaponxmotorsports.com

Holder
I had some time this weekend and thought it was time to remove the rust from the rear rotor hats and repaint them with something a little more durable than the silver paint that comes on them. I have just over 6k miles on the car and the paint was starting to come off. I removed the rotors and ended up doing a god cleaning of the undercarriage. I had a few friends help me out. Sanded real well, cleaned with alcohol and masked for paint. I used a duplicolor caliper paint. I did a few coats letting it tack up in between each coat. chas and emorgn
