Mark L
Thought I'd share this cool Snap On LED worklight I got at Costco last week. It's an awesome 2K lumens 5000K LED worklight, bought it for polishing, tired of the heat from halogen lights. This was only $29.99, but unfortunately is made in China, I bit the bullet anyways. Pretty cool light that is super bright, only uses 25W of energy and cool to the touch. Going to use it this week for polishing in the garage. The Guz
Yeah I have had one of those for about a month or two. The last time I used it was when I was working under the car. It does give off heat because I could feel it. It's pretty good though.

A little heat is ok with me, those halogen lights were ridiculously hot though, I burnt my arm on one as a kid, hated them ever since. 07stanggt
I saw those at my local box store but could not see how they looked when lit.I have 5 500 watt halogens mounted on ceiling (different swithches) of garage in various locations that emmit perfect lighting for detailing. Interested to see/hear how those work out for you. Post a pic if you can.
Mark L
I'll post up after I use it. I've been looking for an LED worklight for a long time. I even thought about purchasing one of those giant photography studio LED lights. This light is super bright and the fact it was only $30 was awesome. I'll probably end up picking up another one. Mark L
50 % cheaper than it is on Amazon Funny you mention that, when I first saw this light at Costco, I was intrigued, but I decided to wait and looked at some reviews first. When I saw the reviews and price on Amazon, I knew this was a great buy. Edited March 28, 2015 by Mark L

GtiGuy
Saw these as well but held off until I read Amazon reviews. Needless to say I just bought two of them, and after turning one on, I may buy two more and mount them up in the garage somehow. Tons of light output! My latest issue is the fact that my garage only has one outlet on the wall and one on the ceiling for the door opener. My bedroom has 5. Figure that one out... IMG_2995a.jpg IMG_2996a.jpg IMG_2997a.jpg Doesn't look like the light spreads out as well as halogens do?, maybe the picture, your thoughts.....
