If you don't mind me asking how did you layer yours? Did you do paint sealant fist and then brilliant glaze and then 2 coats of Americana?

yes i did sealent, glaze, wax.

after wiping  sealent off waited 12 hours for sealent to adhere before applying anything else to paint.

what is the benefit if any to putting on 2 coats of the Americana....don't mean to derail your thread just curious as to what your justification was behind it....does it make it shine more?  more protection?

That detail i only did one coat of wax. later in the thread i did 2 coats by itself on a different detail.

The definitive answer to that is that it makes sure you did not miss any spots and get even coverage especially on a lighter color car. As for more shine and depth i am sure you will hear different answers from different people.

This time around i am doing clay, polish sealent and patriot wax and will only do one coat.
