As a sad posting, I lost my boy to cancer of the spleen that ruptured and bled internally. We couldn't do anything for him except give him to God. His name was Logan and he was 11 years old. He will be surely missed.

Sorry to hear that Gary.  My wife and I lost a german shepherd to the exact same thing.  We had surgery done on her thinking it would give us more time together, but it almost seemed to make things worse.  It seemed to come back with a furor.

Man, that's stunning.

We drive the back way to Carlisle through Amish farm country and one year (around 15 years or more ago) we were deep in the country and came up on a sunrise like that.  It seriously took my breath away.  Only time it ever happened, but it was memorable.

Good thread to revive. I guess I can contribute

i began my day yesterday with a foggy Chattahoochee River at sunrise.

then found the sunset in Central Florida.

after the sunset, we ran into some fireworks from Disney while on the highway, but nothing captured well in a picture.

‘Twas a fun day
