Couple Questions on products

thatryan

Question

I thought I saw in a pic or video somewhere that there were new super VRT block applicators? Kind of concave or something? I don't see those in the shop though.

Looks like upgraded sprayer nozzles as well? What is different there?

The pumps for shampoo and dressings, do they consistently output a certain amount? I have trouble guessing.

Are there borderless gray towels different than the utility towels?

Is there something better better than utility towels for cleaning interior with? Maybe I just was scrubbing too hard but it was very sticky...supposed to be light passes?

Thank you!

We still might have some around - we brought them in as a promotional item to see how they would be received. It was a general mix of "meh" - not really a popular change to the blocks so the odds are they won't be back. If you care to call in and speak to Ben in the office he might be able to find a spare one for you to try. (866)965-0400

We've been using the current sprayer for a little while now. We had some durabiity issues with the others, so went to these which seem to stand up better to abuse. Its the one featured on the bottle in this product picture: http://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-basic-h2o-guard-gloss-kit.html?___SID=U

1 pump equals just under a quarter ounce, so 4-5 pumps for an ounce. Works out well for the soap so you're not trying to shake the last little bit out of the bottle.

VERY! The Borderless is about the same level of softness/plush to our single softs, but has a completely edgeless design.

If you're not having good luck with the utility towel maybe try a waterless wash towel. Ideally you do want scrubbing power though, so it can scour dirt, oils, and other stuff from the interior surfaces. Where you experiening a 'sticky' feel? Is it possible there is something on the surface?

Awesome thank you for clearing it up! Are the hex grip ones still used for tires, or are peeps moving to the blocks for those as well?

The 'sticky' feeling kinda yeah, not sure if anything else is on it. I know the dealer did an interior clean once...

Personally with low profile tires I enjoy dressing with blocks as opposed to Hex Grip.  I'd use Hex Grip if I had larger tires.  The blocks are also super durable, I have a few that may be stained a bit but are cleaned regularly and probably at least a year old if not closer to 2.
