Boarderless Gray Towels v. Double Soft Towels

TR6speed

Question

I don't drive my Corvette a lot and with gallon refills I don't have to order as offten as I use to, so I am getting ready to place an order for a few of the newer products.  I was looking at adding a few more micro fiber towels to my collection and noticed the boarderless Gray towels and was wondering it says "Super plush and edgeless this new microfiber towel is guaranteed to become one of your favorite detailing towels."  Is this towel better then the super soft and if not, what is is best suited for?

The Borderless Gray Towels are not as thick as the Double Soft Towels.  They are basically an edgeless version of the Singe Soft, but gray.

Here's some pics next to the Double Soft, both these towels are new:

I use the Borderless Gray for Detail Spray, H20 Guard & Gloss, and spot touch-ups.

I still prefer the Double Soft towels for polish and haze removal.
