Ummmm long day made for a detailing mistake

Question

So after a long day one of my friends wanted me to show off some Adams so I was happy to, thou I should know better than to try and work quick even in a small area.

He wanted to see how good and easy it was so I said sure Ill torture you and do one door of your truck.

So I quickly break out the PC, some towels and all that, do up the door and smile all happy at how shiny it is. He was impressed at the products and how easy they were to use.

Then he asked, so how do you get it off the door handle?

Uh oh..... in the rush to show off the products, I forgot to hit the black plastic door handle with some SVRT to keep the wax off....

This should be simple enough, spray a little APC on a towel, rub and tada......uhhhhh rub harder...tada! uhhhhh spray APC onto a towel and hold against the handle for a while....TADA!!! ........uh oh......

So yeah.......anyone got some help for me here, I have no idea how to get this stuff OFF the door handle.

I would think the IPA should work. if you don't have any, vegetable oil will work too. In the future, it's a good idea to tape off area's like this, it only takes a minute.

Dawn dish soap solution may help, I've had luck with a good high quality pencil eraser.... Dang new K2 GMC trucks have those darn plastic fender trims which look awesome IMO but, suck up polish and wax..... I need some SVRT it gets old taping that jazz off.

Well with all the rain I have not had a chance to get back there yet. I usually do use VRT on the plastic to keep things fro happening but just rushed it too much.

Ill try the isopropyl as I will be doing my windshield once the rain ends.

I love the peanut butter idea as someone had mentioned that to me here as well, might have to give it a try on a small spot on my truck that I have on the back edge of my mud flap, kinda curious to see it work.
