Uses for double soft towel?

What do u guys mainly use them for? I absolutely love the softness and plush feel of the double soft, but find the single soft works much better majority of the time. I always want to use it for ds wipe downs, but doesn't seem to absorb liquid nearly as much as the single soft. About the only thing I use double soft for is polish/wax removal

I have used it in Rinseless washes, and a couple detail wipe downs, thou you are right on the wipe downs they dont always seem to absorb as well as others. 

 

I use it also for wax removals, thou I have had friends wives want to steal them all to make bath robes out of lol.

I use my Single soft's and Double soft's the same.....polish & wax removal, also with H20 G&G.

I pretty much use it for polish and sealant removal solely, sometimes I will use it as a wipedown towel

I only have 2 double softs and save them for Americana removal.

I LOVE the feel of the double soft. Admittedly it is a bit thick to get into some areas the single soft can. I use the double softs mostly with detail spray to dry when doing rinseless washes and after waterless washes.

Patriot wax. Or a special vehicle. Otherwise I'll grab a single soft or borderless blue/orange for wax and polish removal.

Most everything people have said, add in Rinseless Wash for me.

 

They are a PITA when they stain though =[

I've come to use mine for final wipedown / buffing after G&G or rinseless washing. The thickness is added protection against any undue pressure I might apply, and makes it very easy to get that streak-free finish.

I have a competitors towel with silk/satin band, and though I hear it is safe it still scares me a bit. Is it truly non-marring to the extent of microfiber?

I have some of the older gen doubles and they are great for wax removal, detail spray final wipe downs, I tried them with H2O G&G and they were good at that too, but now 2 of them are a bit grey... Just saw the new version and I'm sure they are premium as are all products Adam's carries.

 

 

I want to get some triple softs.

^yes the GG will stain the towels a bit but they will clean up and function as normal after. My single softs are stained from GG use but work just fine, it's just aesthetic
