Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at a mental health hospital and residential treatment center.

 

Its hard to not make a joke about helping us through our addiction to detail spray, but I don't want to make light of the very important work you do in an often over looked segment of our healthcare system.

Haha I know what you mean about the jokes. My fiancé likes to make jokes about my "addiction" to washing my car too. I tell her "it's not an addiction, it's my form of therapy." Thank you for the kind words about our work in this field.

Civil Engineer and Project Manager for mostly municipal projects. I work on the engineering designs, manage other subconsultants/engineers/drafters, and coordinate the construction of water system projects, along with some streets/drainage and land development.

Current projects underway include a water treatment facility, 5,300 feet of water main installation/replacements, exterior blast and recoating of a 1.1 million gallon water reservoir.

Ive been laid off for some time now.. CT sucks for jobs and lots of other things.

At that age (47 in two months) Age discrimination starts .. organizations want younger cheaper labor  

 

I used to be a Senior Computer Operations Specialist for a International financial data supplier in their I.T. Logistics Dept.

Worked the graveyard for many years. Most of my customers where Nasdaq, Dow Jones, Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg, Merrill Lynch, I dealt with their subsidiaries all over the world from UK, Switzerland, Germany, India, Hong Kong, Japan. Lets just say Europe and East Asia.
