H2O is a spray on sealant which also has high gloss hence the name. It protects your paint for 2 month or so on average.

Detail Spray has no protection in it, it has several use like preventing water spots after a wash and before your dry or used as a lubricant with the clay bar. It is the equivalent of what some call "a quick detailer".

You use both products at the same step in your wash sequence, but they are completely different. Some use detail spray like you do every wash but the H2O should only be used every few washes when the protection is wearing of

When I use DS I do a pooling rinse then spray it down and dry with the Great White. When I use H20 G&G I skip the pooling rinse and do the wet method. I don't follow that up with DS for whatever reason, lol!

Detail Spray is like an everyday quick detailer and gloss enhancer, a "final wipe" spray if you would.

H2O is basically like a water activated, spray on and apply, less durable version of Paint Sealant - meant to be convenient to where you are actually adding sealant protection after a wash.  If you applied H2O once every 2 months after a wash you would always have protection on your car.  Whereas if you are just using Detail Spray and never sealing or waxing you aren't adding protection.  Make sense?

The guys above are all right btw as well - Always use Detail Spray when drying in order to add lubrication while drying (if you aren't applying sealant with GG)

Man haven't even used my h20 gg yet.  Might try it after a wash.  So just spray after a wash and use a double soft to wipe off for the wet method?  Also is it ok to use after i waxed a car a week ago?  No hazing effect?

It won't haze.

Wash without rinsing at the end.

When car still wet, spray once or twice on a panel.

Use damp double soft to spray evenly

Use dry double soft to remove and dry at the same time.

Instructions are on the bottle if you forget
