zw470
So I scored some G&G in my Mystery Box. I'm excited to try it out but at the same time I'm about to add some matte black vinyl stripes to my Mustang. Do I need to avoid the stripes when using G&G? 0 TheWolf
Nope, HGG works fine on matte vinyl. I would recommend using the "Dry Application" method where you spray the product onto a wet towel, then wipe onto the vinyl. This helps minimize any streaking you might see if spraying directly onto the vinyl.
0 wrtowman
No issues with it on mine. Love that stuff. I will say that VRT on matte sripes is legit as well. Edited June 26, 2016 by wrtowman PHOKUS

0 zw470
Awesome Would I be able to use the Liquid Paint Sealant on the stripes as well? Here's a pic of what the stuff will be going on. I installed (applied?) the stripes yesterday afternoon.
0 Beemer
I would not use LPS on the stripes. Would probably work OK but the other options are better.

0 zw470
10-4 on that, I'll probably skip the LPS entirely for now then. I'm using a competitor's sealant now and I'm loving the durability, so no sense in changing just to change. On another note I'm LOVING the detail spray on these stripes. I tried it on the matte black stripes on my charger and it never looked right (I used Brilliant Glaze on them religiously) but it looks amazing on these. 0 zw470
Used the G&G for the first time today. Completely blown away. Gonna make a full post about it later today. TheWolf
