New Waterless Wash Chemicals

Goose8651

Question

I have trued to send Adam's Polishes the below information but the website is not allowing me to submit a message. Have attempted to send them an email, but I know they are closed. Hopefully someone might be able to have an idea?

This morning prior to Church I tried the new waterless wash on my vehicle. About an hour after completion while in Church I noticed a tingling sensation in my eye. I left Church early as it was getting worse and afterwards, my eye was swollen shut. The swelling has gone down throughout the day, but trying to think of something I could of had an allergic reaction to? I did not change any of my normal routine other than trying the new waterless wash. I have used the old formula prior and did not have any issues. Just trying to rule out possibilities of what could have caused the reaction.

I can't offer you any ideas as to your eye, I just hope you get it figured out!  Check back  and let us know.  Sorry I can't give you any other info that might be of help.  Sounds like you are going about things the right way though.  Process of elimination.

You can request a SDS (formally MSDS) for the product, maybe you are allergic to something used in the new version.

The SDS will tell you what to do if you got it in your eye.

My guess if your eye was that bad is that you are allergic to something in it.

Hi Todd, we received your email and I just replied to it - we've been playing catch-up all day on emails from the weekend.

Once again, we apologize if the Waterless Wash caused this issue, but there have been no other reported incidents. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

Glad to hear that you are doing better now. Also something could have gotten onto your forehead and then the sweat carried it into your eye, even something as simple as a piece of dust can cause major issues.
