After my Jeep SRT8 in Black I Swore I would never buy a black car again. At least not for a daily! This is REALLY going to test my detailing skills, OCD nature...and my tolerance for a car that shows all its dirt. Mmmmmm.....??
Well, long story short, if I wanted a 911 GT3RS at MSRP, I had to buy it. If that sounds odd, I get it...but these cars are selling for $35-100(-150k) above MSRP (in some cases with special colors.) So dealers use these special GT cars to move aging / hard to sell inventory.
So, I bought the Cayenne! Even though I just bought my white 2016 Cayenne S in April....and before that, my gray 2016 Cayenne S eHybrid in December!!!! Yeah, I've got a problem. Lol
For 10+ years I've wanted a Cayenne...but heck I didn't mean 3 within 7 months! LOL. oh well.
I will say it wasn't a hard decision considering this new one is the top of the line Turbo S! COMPLETELY different than the other two S's. And I kept telling my salesman (who's become a 'professional' friend) that I loved my Cayennes but it just needed a V8 to make it perfect. So, he knew how to hook up a good deal that got my attention.
So....the Cayenne Turbo S... Obvisouly more power vs the S....but the suspension and brakes are INSANE.
10-PISTON calipers!!!! WTF?!! That's so awesome it's hilarious! Huge carbon discs. It brakes better than my '14 M5 and it weighs 600+ lbs more! I can't say enough. Blown away.
And the suspension....it's got the Porsche Dynamic suspension system that makes body roll non-existent!
Again...absolutely blown away that such a big and heavy SUV can handle this way. It literally handles like a sports car. Insane.
And the 570Hp and 590tq make it so 'athletic'....and with the proper braking and suspension system, I'm able to tap into a good bit of the power coming out of its 4.8 Twin turbo V8 of a powerplant!
Also... Sold the GT3 to accommodate the incoming RS... Bittersweet for sure...
