I've seen quite a few comments about storing Americana in the fridge. What's the benefit of that, vice storing on the shelf inside the house? Just received mine today.

It's recommended because Americana can be damaged by extreme temperatures, although it's not necessary if you'll be storing it in a climate controlled environment.

 

Either way just make sure you remove the applicator pad and cardboard piece before storing.

Why do you have to remove the applicator and cardboard?

The applicator can slowly absorb the wax. They're packaged that way simply for shipment.
