We are happy to finally introduce our Ceramic Wheel Coating. It makes cleaning your wheels a breeze. The water and brake dust comes flying right off. Check out the video for an in-depth look at how to apply it and make sure to pay attention to the before and after. Adam's wheels came out amazing. We know everyone will love this product.

What I would like to see is it applied on something that produces a bunch of brake dust and then see how much is removed just by power washing.  Preferably on wheels that are silver (not black or dark gray).  I think that would be the best way of demonstrating how much easier this will make cleaning.

May I ask why it's so expensive?  I get it comes with towels, but wheel coatings with applicators run about $35-40.

Because most competitors in that price range are for a 15ml bottle of ceramic only. Our kit comes with a 50ml bottle plus all of the other accessories - microfiber towels, Coating Prep, Ceramic Boost, Applicators, and rubber gloves.

Is this the same as the regular paint coating?

How does it affect stick on wheel weights?

No, this coating is a stronger 9H-rated coating compared to the 7H paint coating, for more durability for the harsh environment that wheels are subjected to. Having a 9H coating like this on paint can sometimes require wet sanding the coating off, so that is why we chose an easier-to-work-with coating for the painted body panels of the vehicle, so that customers new to this technology do not have any issues with application - our Paint Coating can be removed by machine polishing.

Wheel Coating will not affect wheel weights. Your tire shop will still be able to remove them if necessary when re-balancing a tire or mounting a new tire, as it does not affect the adhesive. If you are coating a brand new wheel, I would recommend to have the tire mounted and balanced first, but it's not necessary.

But in theory, if one was so inclined, we could apply the wheel coating to the paint? Extra hardness can go a long way me thinks.

Thanx Dan, my biggest concern was whether the weights would stick to the coating.

Will this work on black, satin wheels? I'm going to watch the video, as well, but I wanted to see if there was quick feedback. Thanks!

I believe it's caution advised on satin wheels as it may cause unwanted shine. It was in the video or I read it somewhere. So will it work? Yes. Will your wheels stay satin? Maybe.

Thank you, Shane. I'm going to watch the video tonight to be clear. I have Adam's same car with those Brembo brakes, so I know exactly why he made this product!

The Brembo's definitely leave a ton of brake dust.  I know the Lotus wheels are next to impossible to keep clean for that reason.  I just don't know if I want to go through the trouble of jacking the car up and pulling the wheels off.  The jack points aren't the easiest to find on it.  And the idea of leaving them off for a day makes it an extended time frame to do a wheel.  Wait a day to finish it.  Move to the next wheel.

That being said, I'm still debating coating the entire car this spring.  I go back and forth on it personally.  The cost is up there for the three kits (which I may be able to skip the trim kit since it doesn't have much of it on it).  We will see.  I've never been displeased with my results using conventional methods.  But this is all very tempting.

That is a 100% honest answer and makes sense.  Thanks for explaining it to me and not taking offense to it.  You da man, Dan!
