Honestly, you are in the perfect spot to ceramic coat them and be done with it. They are brand new. The biggest challenge to applying the ceramic coating is that you need the wheels 100% clean and polished and you wont need to worry about that. I spent 2 days on the wheels on my wife's car to get them perfect before ceramic coating but they had 20k miles on them.

The ceramic will hold up to the heat where as wax will not and will make cleaning them much easier. Unless you just like to wax wheels, get the coating lol

Once I ceramic coat the wheels, is adams wheel cleaner safew on the ceramic, or willet it hurt it? Anything else I should know about cleaning them, it'll be my first set of painted and clear coated wheels, same as I would the body I assume?

Once the wheels are coated, simple car soap and water will do wonders. Throw some boost on from time to time to bring out the shine. The beauty of a coating is it cuts down on products you need to maintain the finish.

Those rims already have clear coat on them.

If you REALLY want to overkill and make sure it'll last forever, you COULD try:

1) spray clear coat like rust-o-lium

2) apply wax or sealant

(just make sure you do only inside the wheel well, not where the tire goes)

You really don't need to do this... as long as your clean your wheel every 2-4 weeks to make sure you keep the brake dust off them... you should be fine.
