Waterless Washed the Car. Now what for the Tires?

falcaineer

Question

I just did my second-ever waterless wash yesterday - forgot how good that stuff smells . The car looks great, but I was left wondering what I should do to clean the tires "without water." Didn't even think about it last time, apparently.

What do you all do?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I guess the same question could be asked for a Rinseless, but I haven't done that yet.

When mobile detailing I bring a garden sprayer (like 2 gallon) with just water and wash the wheels, week wells, and tires like normal.

I guess you could just wipe em down with waterless wash as well.

This is probably the main reason I don't do Rinseless washes. IMO the wheels/tires are the dirtiest part of the vehicle. I'm sure a dedicated set of MF towels and/or brushes would work. You would just need to get the process down pat and repeatable.

I have a dedicated wheel brush (non Adam's) I use with Rinseless wash.  I wash the car first, then use the remaining Rinseless wash for the wheels.  I have another dedicated brush that I will use on the tires after the wheels are cleaned.  That brush ends up very nasty, but the polymers on the the Rinseless wash can add a little gloss on the tires.
