Ceramic products question

Walley91

Question

Ok so just curious here, is there actually any difference between the paint, trim, and wheel ceramic coating? If I have paint ceramic left over can I just use it on the trim instead of paying another $100 for what's more than likely an identical product? I'd much rather spend more money on other products like compressed air setups etc then $200 extra on what I think is the same product.

The biggest differences in them are their hardness (or softness depending on how you look at it) and how well they tolerate heat.  A coating is a semi-permanent process, so cutting corners wouldn't be recommended.  I can understand the desire not to spend big money, but each was designed for a specific application for a reason.

You have to look at it as an investment into your car or truck. I've put it on 4 and doing my 5th car this weekend and it protects the paint amazingly.

Also saves you time washing since nothing so far is really sticking to it and maintains the new look of the car which helps in resale or collector value depending on what vehicle it is.
