Polisher upgrade

Need some opinions, currently use a PC 7424xp and I'm good with the results. I was lucky enough to get 100$ gift card from work so I figured I would buy Adam's swirl killer mini.

Is this a good option?

Should I keep the PC and just get 4 inch pads for it and invest in a better polisher ? Or just get the mini as planned?

Does the mini come with a backing plate ?

I'm personally going to buy the swirl killer and maybe use the other polisher I have and put a small back plate on it.

Mini does come with a backing plate.

Both the SK and SK Mini are so nice after using a PC for years. I purchased an SK when they came out and relegated the PC to 4" pads.  But I loved the SK so much I bought an SK Mini and now the PC is on the shelf.

I would recommend waiting to upgrade to the SK, and converting your PC to the 4" polisher.  The SK is much smoother than the PC, and would be the machine you would use over the majority of the car.  

The SK Mini is a fine machine, but is only used for tight/small areas.

Imo the full size machine is your best upgrade atm. Keep the pc for 4" pads

Id agree with that, unless you have a lot of panels on the vehicles you detail that wont fit the full sized pads.

I love my Cyclo! I have the Rupes mini, and I think its an awesome combo with only having to stock 4in pads, so much easier on the stock list.

Before Adam brought out the SK, I brought a Rupes 15ES. My plan was to sell off the PC, but after talking to those that attended the detail clinic at Detailer Domain I kept the PC for the ability to run the 4" pads.the PC as you know vibrates the heck out of you, the SK will make you want to detail!!

I ended up ordering the SK, I'll get some 4inch pads fo the PC.
