Ceramic Coating Hydrophobic? What Do You Think?

BRZN

Question

Okay, so the entire car was finished over memorial day weekend, 11 days ago.

http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/33082-ceramic-coated-omg/

Figured I'd wash it this morning. It wasn't very dirty at all, but we'll be leaving early tomorrow morning on our yearly family vacation and I want to drive a clean car.

The question has been asked about water beading after the vehicle is Ceramic Coated and wiped down with Ceramic Boost.

I two bucket washed the car with Adam's Wash & Wax, 2 ounces of the Shampoo in about three gallons of water.

The beads of water on the paint aren't overly big, they keep running off the surface, heck the Car Shampoo wouldn't cling very long before it was on the driveway. No pooling rinse, just sprayed with the hose to rinse.

If you like big beads of water on the paint, I guess you'll need to stick with a wax or sealant. If you want a coat of unbelievable protection on the paint where not much of anything will stick to the surface for a very long time use the Ceramic Coating. Me? I'm going to end up coating all our cars.

I had a terrible time with Photobucket allowing me to copy these two pictures to add them to the thread, I was able to this morning and have added them to the first post, with comment:
