0 Checo
Welcome to the forum! You should always do a test spot, if a lighter or less aggressive polish/compound works use that if not you can always go more aggressive. ocdrifter
0 falcaineer
Actually, the prevailing mantra on here is "use least aggressive method first." Following that, the CP would come first. Like Sergio said, do a small, maybe 2'x2' section, to see what it'll take. Then have at it! Welcome to the addiction! ocdrifter
0 Nathan
Do a small test spot to see what you need, start with the least aggressive first (correcting polish). And then go to the compound if required. For after the test spot once you know you need compound, you need to follow compound with a polish. Checo and ocdrifter
0 ocdrifter
Welcome Jorge, I'm going to say it all depends what your trying to accomplish, with your finish and what condition is it in. I have a 11 year old black truck that I have never corrected, and it looks very good. I wax it bi weekly though. So if your finish does need to be corrected then I would do like the rest above me have already stated.
