VRT getting thin

p3jason

Question

My supply of VRT has seemed to get thinner over time. I store it inside and give it a shake before use. The results still look good, but it takes more time to even it out when applying than it did when new, and thicker. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes it does. However I noticed if you use the red cap that comes with the new bottles, itll last longer. Im running low on my last bottle of VRT, but im thinking I might get the ceramic trim coating instead so I dont have to reapply vrt anymore. Not sure yet.

I keep all of my prodcuts in my basement which stays in the 60s year round, and I can say that I have some older bottles of SVRT that are still as thick as mayo. Yes they do have the red caps on them, there was one that had a red pump on it that I just finally emptied out and it was as thick as when I started. Maybe it has something to do with temp of storage location?
