philhibner
In the middle of a customer's car. My SK just stopped working. If I turn it upside down (pad up) it works. If it's pad down it won't turn on. Anyone else experience this? Quick responses appreciated!

0 Wy_detailing
I had an issue like that, I sent dan an email and I got a return label for my old one and they sent me a new one! Adams amazing customer service for the win!
0 philhibner
Ended up being the power cord. As I wiggled it, it would cut out. Cut about a foot of wire off and reconnected...works great now. Guessing it was pinched somewhere. b_pappy
0 ocdrifter
Sounds like you just cut the warranty right out of your SK. Â Ended up being the power cord. As I wiggled it, it would cut out. 0 2012srt8
I'm sure finishing the customers car was more important then the warranty. I would hope Adams would replace it anyway under those circumstances philhibner
0 ocdrifter
I'm sure that's a given, for my self I own five different machines, just in case a emergency like this comes up and need to pull out a back up to get the job done. 0 philhibner
I called Adams during the middle of all of this. I wouldn't have been able to receive a replacement one in time to finish the customer's vehicle. I told Dan that I would try to fix it before exchanging it, which he completely understood. Luckily I was able to get it going again. May need to buy a 2nd as a back up, or teach the wife how to correct to cut down on times lol.
