So last weekend I Strip Washed my "new to me" F-150, put down some H20 G&G via the wet method, then finished it off with VRT on the tires. It looked great, then of course it rained pretty much every day after that
This morning I washed her with Wash & Wax & used Detail Spray as a drying agent. Note: I did not apply any Detail Spray to the wheels or tires, I just dried them normally. When I went to apply the VRT I had a hell of a time getting it to turn out right. No matter what I did it just looked streaky and tragic.
Could the protection that W&W leaves behind have interfered with the application of VRT?
