0 mc2hill
First off, Welcome Jeff! You may be using to much product. It should worked until very thin (about 6 movement passes), and removed immediately without difficulty. You could try spraying it with Coating Prep or diluted IPA (50/50 with distilled water) before removal. 0 aclass
Thank you for the quick reply I am out in the garage now doing an F250 so I appreciate the help. I'll give it a try
0 shane@detailedreflections
I also find that if you're working where it's hot and/or humid it can be more difficult to remove the polish. When it's like that, I find that I'll remove the polish after each panel as opposed to letting it sit and removing it all at once. If I'm still struggling, some detail spray tends to help remove anything left without too much difficulty.
0 Wy_detailing
I had that same issue. The orange correction polish has a diminishing abrasive in it. The more you polish, the more the compound breaks down and the glossier the paint gets. Try working the project for a longer period of time, them try wiping it off, that's what helped me
0 blcksilv08
I'll echo what others have said in possibly using to much and the weather conditions changing how it removes. Honestly, once I figure out what is needed to remove defects, I'll do a panel or two then go directly over the orange correction polish with finishing polish and wipe both off when done. Finishing polish has always wiped off super easy for me.
0 aclass
Thanks again for the helpful replies. The vehicle is White so my major problem was too much product and not working it in enough. By the time i was finished with this beast I had finally caught the hang of it. mc2hill
