Black Door Handles

My truck has black door handles and rubber trim that never looks good. I wish Adams would make a black inhancer that didn’t wash off for these items, maybe something like solution finish but an Adam’s version, I would definitely buy and try.

Adam's Ceramic Trim Coating would work as long as you cleaned and prepped them properly before applying it.

 

Would take time to thoroughly clean them, been there and done that, but the end result is worth it.

 

Did rubber and plastic trim around side windows on a late model Dodge which has similar style components to the truck door handles.

Sometimes its better to just use the other brands. I know we would all want an Adam's product for every application, but it's just not feasible. Solution Finish is a great alternative to the Trim Coating route.

I used the Trim Coating on my F150 months ago.  The black plastic mirrors, door handles, bed rails and all other trim still looks FANTASTIC.  Little Waterless Wash cleans them up with just a wipe.

 

This is honestly the BEST solution.

I use VRT on my trucks handles and trim and it makes a huge difference. But I do have to reapply it every other wash or so.

I've also used the VRT and it works well on door handles.  Another possible route is to use the In-n-Out Spray on the door handles.  I've recently done my son's Jeep Rubicon handles with the In-n-Out Spray and it looks fantastic.  You will have to re-apply it every other wash or so, but it works great.

I use H20 G&G on my exterior handles and mirrors,use the dry method, apply it kinda thick and buff immediately works like a charm.

Plus when it rains you dont have to reapply.
