alexA5
So saw this pic on Instagram and thought it would be sick to have clear buckets to see what’s going on in them. Looked around and don’t see anyone already doing this so maybe Adam’s should hop on it.
Chonke
Looks pretty cool, but it kinda seems like that fragile plastic that would crack when something hits it.

ScatPackTwister2017
Great idea. I would buy two right off the bat. Would like to see a dirty bucket after a good wash, fruits of my labor. Psychologically seeing the dirt in the bucket would give me more satisfaction of giving the car a wash and a job well done. It's all a mind game. Adam's new product design team needs to work on this, along with the windshield washer fluid. Don't want to use glass sealant on my windshield then to have it stripped away with the alcohol based washer fluid in the winter time. Naylor649
I’m not sure on how the property’s of plastic work but seems like it would be hard and brittle but maybe the looks of glass is throwing me off.
Rich
Seems dumb to me. After a while, they'll all scratch inside and out, and eventually turn cloudy and wouldn't be any better than the fairly clear white ones. Nah, I'll keep the ones I have. funkymonkey1111 and Asti113
sdfd504
As said above I would be afraid of them being too brittle or hazing over time.
Asti113
That's an 18qt polycarbonate bucket; used in food service. They are pretty firm, but do hold up to abuse. They can scratch from abrasive cleaning pads, and can crack, but it would take a solid blow to do so. For practical use, if you had it on a detail cart or bucket caddy (not sure if it fits), it would do fine. You might get hazing at the grit guard level, but it should be fine for the rest. It would let you see below the foam layer, but I don't think you'll see much with adequate shampoo in the bucket. alexA5

Red Rambler
I don’t know that your clear and the clear of the adams bucket are the same. The bucket above looks 100% transparent. However the adams bucket looks like their normal colored mystery bucket. More so white than clear. Hopefully you are correct however, would be pretty cool! Your buckets are up, I passed on the bucket, but did get a foam cannon with the discount code!
Dan@Adams
Just to clear things up...pun intended Our clear buckets are more of a frosted plastic, and not exactly like the one you see in the original post on this thread: Red Rambler, TheWolf and blcksilv08 1

asm3686
I do like the semi clear bucket as started above... it gave me a sense of accomplishment when I looked at the bucket and bottom was covered in gunk. My old home depot buckets don't let you see anything inside.
Traizer
Anyone order one and get the mysterious foaming cleaner in the bottom right of the bucket? Curious to know what it is

Hi Lance, Sorry for the late reply here - I'm not quite sure we'll be offering this specific bucket again. We had more than a handful of these buckets that cracked during the shipping process, so either the shipping companies were very rough with packages or the plastic was a little less durable than our other buckets. RacerX
I'm curious if anyone has tried a clear bucket and looked to see if the grit guard really makes a difference in keeping the sediment down low...
falcaineer
Haven't tried the clear bucket, but I can vouch for the grit guard. Great product. wildcatz80
