If I have Shampoo + APC do I need Strip Wash?

I'm thinking preemptively for next summer when I'll be stripping + sealing all of my cars and I'm wondering; does an APC + Shampoo wash do as good of a job as Strip Wash? Will I be burning through APC since I have at least 4-5 cars to do?

APC will work fine.  Strip wash is just easier.

 

Only takes a fluid ounce or two in your bucket so if you have a full 16 oz bottle you'll have enough.

APC+CS or SW will work, but I'd recommend the SW. Works like a champ and suds really well. In the end, I think you'll use less SW than APC+CS for that many vehicles, and it's only one product vs. 2...but I guess mileage will vary. Also, I won't make too many friends on here by saying this, but blue Dawn liquid soap is also an option. I know, some will say it dries trim, and Dan (TheWolf) explains it well in the linked thread above about lack of polymers, but with limited use, I haven't seen any adverse effects on my car and it does work.

Yeah that’s what I used my first go round. Seemed to work fine for me. Think I’ll order a SW for next summer though.
