Is Brilliant Glaze acrylic based?

ax023

Question

Hi guys.

Does anyone know if Brilliant Glaze is acrylic based?

Some people prefer to apply a glaze before a sealant due to it's filler capacities. However, I was doing some research and read that it's ok to do so, only if the glaze is acrylic based. If it's not acrylic based, then the sealant will evaporate just as quick as a glaze would, which would be within a few weeks.

Does anyone have more insight on this?

Sorry, don't know for sure about its contents, but glazes typically have a combo of waxes, solvents and oils. You allude to it, but as a general rule, the most durable product should be the base. In this case, that's the PS...and it should be applied to bare paint. So my recommendation is sealant first, then BG

Put the Paint Sealant down first.  Then you can put down the BG and if you want, add H2O GG to boost the Sealant and lock in the great shine you get from BG.  You can also replace that H2O GG with a good wax (Though not as durable) or Ceramic Boost etc.  Tons of options, just put down the PS first...
