Otherwise you’re stripping off protection for no reason. We recommend two good details per year maintained with occasional application of wax. On a detail that’s not a coating, we use sealant, glaze and two coats of wax applied by hand. That wax then should be done every 4-8 weeks depending on the type of wax being topped with.
