Finishing polish with Ceramic Coating

I'm about to finally apply the ceramic coating from Adams.  I also purchased the Finishing polish for the correction process.  Do I still need to use the coating prep in between the finishing polish and applying the coating?  Will the coating prep diminish any of the shine produced by the finishing polish?  I know some competitor products go hand in hand and save the step of needing to prep in between steps.  I just want to make sure I'm doing the correct steps with the Adam's products.  Thanks again!

Yes, you still need to use the Coating Prep after polishing to remove the oils in the polish.

 

No, the Coating Prep will not reduce the shine from the polishing, just use a new premium MF towel like the Single Soft for the prep wide-down to make sure that you don't introduce any swirls.

Use the coating prep before applying the coating. The prep will not remove any gloss, it may show some scratches you might have missed.
