Guard and Gloss for bed cover?

rrmccabe

Question

I am trying to find a solution for bed cover protectant on my truck.  I know VRT does a good job at protecting but cant deal with the streaking after rain.

I really don't use HGG on my vehicles but have a few bottles of it. Is there any benefit to using it on vinyl covers?

You're going to have a hard time if it's a vinyl cover.  Most of the products are water based.  It's one of the big problems with them.  We use VRT cut in half with water to make it spray a bit more even.  We haven't tried guard and gloss on it.  I'd be curious how it works if you go that route.

Otherwise known as "VRT milk," this is a good option to try.
