Brick1609
Just got my first bottle of BG. What's the consistency supposed to be? Mine is like water
0 falcaineer
It's pretty thin...watery is a decent description. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before use as the solvents raise to the top over time. It won't be thick like a wax or sealant given its chemical makeup. pirahnah3 and Brick1609

I guess I was just expecting it to be thicker, maybe like the leather conditioner. I'm ready to try it out but wanted to make sure first. Being watery like that, what is the best way to apply it? I did try some out on the bathroom mirror real quick, so I just grabbed a blue shop towel to try and it just soaked into the towel
0 Nickfire20
Red hex grip or microfiber sponge applicator or red foam on a machine, it goes on very thin, a little goes a long way Brick1609, pirahnah3 and RayS
0 pirahnah3
As Nick said, also I have used the interior UFO pads in a pinch.
0 falcaineer
I prefer to use the grey MF pads. Yellow hex grip (color coded for BG) will work, too, and is the same foam as the red hex. The Adam's grey or red foam pads on a machine work well, too. Brick1609
0 ZMAN024
The grey MF applicator is the way to go, if you're applying by hand. I like the rectangular shape. The corners help you get into odd spaces easily. Keep in mind a little goes a long way, so you'll be able to cover more area than you think. A thorough shake of the bottle, a liberal squeeze on the applicator (spread out to the edges) and you'll be able to do the entire hood, roof, or door panel and fender before reloading.
