Ceramic paint coating on wheels?

Hey everyone,

 

First post here! I need some advice... just got finished ceramic coating my 2017 Grand Cherokee Overland and I have about half my bottle of ceramic coating left. I was wondering if I could coat my rims with it? What’s the harm? I believe they’re painted rims and have a clear coat on them so I can’t imagine it’s much different than the body? Could be completely off the mark though... any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could coat them with paint coating. Just know that paint coating doesn’t stand up to heat like wheel coating does which may shorten the lifespan of the coating.
