Coming to Florida

Good Morning Everyone! My family is traveling to Ft Myers to spend Christmas with my grandparents. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on things to do in the area. I have been many times but it's been 5 years since the last time. My girlfriend has never been to Florida. I'd like to find a nice Christmas light display at least. I was also wondering if there was an Adam's dealer around there. I know there is a map on the site but I don't see one close to Ft Myers.

If you get a chance, stop by St Augustine, it is a beautiful old city and they do it right for Christmas.   Disney for the holidays is also something very special whether you go to Disney itself or Epcot, you'll have a good time.   Epcot is geared a bit more for adults, in my opinion.  If you are golfers, make sure you take your clubs, there are many outstanding courses all over Florida and the Ft Myers areas has some exceptional courses.

If you are driving, be careful when you get around mile mark 305 on I-75.  They are widening I-75 and the bridge is a bit of a mess where it goes of 50 - which is the exit I get off from.

Enjoy your Christmas trip.

Thank you for the ideas! St Augustine is on the other side of the state but we were thinking about making a trip over there to explore anyway. We are driving so I'll keep that construction in mind. I'll mention it to my family when we plan our route.

"Other side", heck it is the other END of the state, about a 7 hour drive!  It's an easy stop if you were coming down 1-95 form the northeast.

Sorry Ray, haven't been on here in a while!  Sorry I missed your post, I am just below Ft Myers.

We went to Naples for a day. It's beautiful down there. I guess the whole area is. I just looked at your website. You get to work on some beautiful cars.
