Dusty Charger

Recommended Posts

This has probably been covered,but...my Charger has been sitting in the garage getting REAL dusty I get it out to drive but have not detailed it in awhile,I usually waterless wash in the summer, but it's SO dusty should I go ahead and wash/rinse the dust off? or spray a heavy amount waterless wash and wipe as usual  as usual? thank you,Mike

In a word, yes.  If you just use detail spray or WW at this point you most likely will get fine scratches.   I would wash it.   I have a garage queen too , and I got two queen size super soft flat sheets, had the wife sew the ends together, and after the car is clean in the garage, I lay that over it till I drive it again. Saves me a lot of not having to detail it all the time so I can be out driving instead.

Rinseless it is  thanks everyone

Also understand you can dilute RW 16:1 for a Waterless Wash-like solution. So a little goes a long way with the RW, and that makes it more economical. But it doesn't smell nearly as awesome, IMO.
