I'm interested in your process for doing this.

Is it as simple as it sounds?

Yep

  • Dampen a MF towel in the Rinseless Wash solution
  • Clean section with Rinseless Wash using Adam's Microfiber Wash mitt
  • Spray H2O G&G over the section (a Tolco spray head from the Premium Dilution bottle works best)
    • try not to put on too much
  • Wipe with the damp MF towel to spread out the G&G over the section
  • Wipe dry with a Waterless Wash towel
  • Move on to the next section until done!

That's cool, Mike! Thanks for the outline, I'll have to try that.

For the record, the new HGG can be used as a wet or dry (no water) application.

I did not know that. When you say "new," you mean the one from last fall?

where the bottle says something about hybrid technology?

Yep, that's the one. The video explains it a bit more on the product page.

Honestly I find it difficult to justify using liquid paint sealant since discovering HGG...

My 2016 Silverado w/70k miles on it has only had LPS maybe 2-3x but, I use the HGG about once a month or so... I also keep the truck clayed regularly which really seems to help the bonding.. I just did my truck last weekend, this weekend I hit it with some detail spray...
