Washing freshly resprayed paint

Hey guys. Planning to fully detail and correct my truck for goodguys show here in iowa this weekend. Paint needs corrected bad. Needs washed first. Am i safe to use strip wash on 6 week old paint or not. Also will claying new paint mess with it or not.

Best advice is to ask the shop that did the paint job. Sometimes you're good right after (if they bake it), sometimes it's weeks. Give them a call and tell them what you want to do...they should know if it's ok or not.
