Alcantara Question

SO I have been kicking around the idea of a new (used) car. I really love the CTS V and V sport. My question is that my car will be driven daily so the doors/seats will get wet. How bad is it for alcantara to get wet?

Alcantara simply needs to be kept clean in order to remain functional. Once it mats up, it’s a headache. Use soft brushes on it and gentle cleaners. 

 

As for moisture it’s not the end of the world, but for added protection you could use a fabric protection product available from a variety of manufacturers. We highly recommend them for carpet, upholstery and leathers.

I use a 3:1 mix of carpet & upholstery cleaner on mine for daily type touch up jobs.  After X amount of drives, just sprits a few sprays on a cockpit brush and gently comb the seats and the steering wheel.  My interior looks 10x better than same guys with 1/2 the mileage.  Now that I've typed that, with 9K miles, mine still looks day one!
