falcaineer
Any tips on unclogging a Foam Cannon? Don't know what's clogged, but I'm getting questions on IG and don't really know how to answer. I will mention using clean water to clean out after every use in the future. Thanks! 0 Nickfire20
Maybe soaking the whole head of it in super hot water? Then try running fresh water through it. Maybe also take the orfice out, and maybe try to loosen anything in there with a toothpick Ive never had one clog, but I think that would be a good start. falcaineer
0 BRZN
I've disassembled the units before. The ones I've taken apart have a wad of what appears to be a very course steel wool inside. When this steel wool gets clogged with Car Shampoo, it diminishes the foaming action of the Cannon. Soaking this wad in straight APC overnight and thoroughly rinsing with warm water has cleaned them back to as an new condition. It's pretty important to run clear water through the head after foaming a vehicle. I simply remove the jar and pull the trigger for several seconds to clean things up. falcaineer
0 BrianT
Make sure the tiny little hole on top of the brass bottle fitting is open, otherwise when you use it it'll suck the bottle in!! Lol falcaineer
0 TheWolf
I use vinegar to break down the soap residue. Remove the head from the bottle and take off the pickup tube, then soak the whole head in 50% vinegar water in a small container overnight. The next day, dump the vinegar water into the foam cannon bottle, and run it through the cannon. Just make sure to spray it out into the street, not on your lawn!
