HELP! Matte Vinyl Stripes

Jjm1995

Question

I tried the brilliant glaze and VRT method on my stripes and they still have marks on them. I didn’t have the block they used in the video so I just used microfiber towels. Is there any way to get these spots of my stripes?DDEFE3BC-D93E-4BD1-8C51-160A06305B14.thumb.jpeg.6d3d460ce3a9ded094b1a3e72d8f34ee.jpeg

If they've been there for a while it's probably impossible to remove the spots without ruining the vinyl.

Vinyl that was damaged is best replaced.

If the spots are fairly recent you should be able to minimize them with REVIVE or another fine polish.

My brother had them on his Camaro.  Don't want to bring you down, but I tried everything and couldn't get them out for him.  This is a common problem with Chevy stripes.

The New Hand Polish may do the trick. If it doesn't, replacing the stripes may be your only option. The spots almost appear to be water marks. If water was on the stripes with certain minerals in it and the sun evaporated the water, the minerals damaged the vinyl. I own a 2012 Camaro that had matte vinyl stripes on it, I pulled them because I couldn't correct them.
