Graphene Ceramic Spray

NTHAKKER

Question

So, I am planning on apply the graphene ceramic spray on my car (fairly new, relatively scratch free) and I had a few questions while I was planning the process:

The process goes something like this:

1. Iron remover on the tire ; wash the tires with a wheel cleaner

2. Rinse the car and pre-soak with snow foam and use two bucket system to wash the car. Rinse off

3. After washing and rinsing off, I would apply the bug and tar remover; re-soak part of the car with snow foam and use a mitt or microfiber towel to wipe away the tar. Rinse the car.

4. While the car is wet, apply iron remover to the car.

Q(1): Can the iron remover be sprayed on the trip, such as the rubber protection around the windows. If not, how do i avoid it getting there?

5. Rinse the car and make sure the iron remover isn't on the paint for a while

6. Clay the car (with adam's visco clay bar) using detail spray as a lube. This i plan on doing panel by panel after the drying the car

Q(2): Do i need to rinse the car again after claying it? I really dont want to rinse the car often cause i use a garden hose and the water is fairly hard

7. after the car is dry, look for water spots and use water spots remover to remove spots. Rinse the car, and do it panel by panel and dry again.

Q(3) Can i use a water spot remover after decon stage or should i do it before decon?

7. Use a waterless or rinseless wash (maybe ONR). I am doing this because the water is hard; i dont want any water spots what-so-ever and I am performing all of this outdoors on a black car.

8. Polishing step:

Unless you have other suggestions, I was thinking: (1) Scratch and Swirl Remover with White Foam Pad and SK Pro.

I am assuming i can do this outdoors (the scratch and swirl remover says so, at least) ; i don't really want to do it by hand.

Q(4) For the SK pro, what size pads should i (2" 3.5" 5.5" or 6.5") get and how many for a mid-size suv

Q(5) Do i need to rinse after polishing or just wipe away with a MF towel.

9. Apply Adam's Surface Prep.

Q(6) Do i also need to get a trim prep or will the surface prep be file for the trims?

10. Apply Graphene Ceramic Spray.

Q(7) I am doing all of this outdoor. Of course, i will do this on the day where the weather isn't humid or its not gonna rain. But can i do this outdoor or should i get a canopy to keep the car under overnight?

Q(8) it says keep the car element free for 3-4 hours? what does element free mean? Rain? Dust? Mist? Sun Rays?

Q(9) should i let the coat cure during the day or overnight

I greatly appreciate the help

Welcome..here are my thoughts...

i would skip step 7 bc any polishing you do will remove hard water marks.
i would think 2 pads pads will get the job done.
You do not need to rinse after you finish polishing just wipe the polish residue off..the surface Prep spray will do its job just fine.
As far as curing time..they say 4 hours to cure.  So i dont think waiting overnight will give you any better results.  Just try not to do it on a windy day where dirt/debris can get introduced in the first few hours after application.
