I was recently car shopping and stopped to check them out myself. They are amazing cars and fun to drive but just a hair out of my budget. I decided to go with the Ford Fusion Energi and couldn't be happier. I can commute to and from work or around town in 100% electric mode or pack up the family and head to California with the ICE. It too is a great car at about half the price.

Yeah, it's a hard plastic.

No, I just washed with shampoo and dressed with Super VRT. It came out looking alright but I question the longevity of the finish. I guess cleaning with all purpose cleaner is probably a good start, then what would I finish with for a long lasting finish?
-
So I recently decided to tackle my wife's extremely neglected minivan with some of my new found Adam's products and came across this.... Any suggestions? I washed it and applied Super VRT but it didn't really do the trick. I was thinking of getting my hands on some In and Out spray and trying that but thought I would ask you pro's. Thanks in advance!

Industrial Automation - If you can dream it, I can automate it.

It's near the mountains, probably about 20 miles until you actually start to climb. The land is relatively flat with spectacular views of the Rockies and tons of things to do near by. All in all it's a great place to live.

Do you have anything in a men's 16?

Badge removal.... Removed the "Fusion" moniker due to poor adhesives and my Adam's wash pad getting caught on it.

Good beginning setup?
BadRock replied to loki993's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
You will get great shine, you just won't get the depth. I am very satisfied with the overall look and shine after using the sealant. Dylan uses it on his truck, and admittedly said it was way past due for a re-seal and it looked great...still. You could probably start a new thread or even find this debate within the forum but I think for a daily driver it's the way to go. The other thing to keep in mind is how the car is stored. If it's outside all the time then a sealant is definitely going to be better. Waxes have a very low melting point and will begin to break down around 160°F, sealants are much higher. I also have the Ford's premium leather and the guys at Adam's recommended the Total Interior Detailer. I was thinking of getting the Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner but they said the Total Interior Detailer was a better fit. My 2¢ -

If this is a daily driver you might consider a sealant over a wax. Sealants will remain effective for months vs. weeks and they are easy to apply. Just something to consider. You might also include some Total Interior Detailer
